Sure, everybody knows Pythagoras' Theorem. Here, I show what I consider one of the most elegant visual proofs: wherever we shift the blue triangles, the yellow area remains always the same. But in one configuration, it forms two smaller squares with total area a² + b², and in the another configuration, one big tilted square with area c².
